Looking for a dance partner for steamy salsa nights

What's a sensation on Dancing with the Stars is my weekly nightmare. On the next episode, a woman dances with a woman. The press celebrates it as a sensation.

In my Friday salsa group we have a serious shortage of men. Woman dances with woman. 20 couples, and 12 of them married. The married couples swap partners among themselves, and we women can watch to see who wins the battle for the two young men tonight.

I'm looking for a dance partner for my salsa nights in Austin. Salsa is really fun, and afterwards we spend another hour or two together at the bar of the salsa studio.

Even if you've never taken a single dance class, you're at least reading these lines. I never took a ballroom class myself. When I was young, it was almost frowned upon. Thanks to Dancing with the Stars, a new dance wave is building. That's wonderful.

I discovered salsa dancing for myself 10 years ago. It's great fun, everyday life stays outside the door, and the Latin American rhythms whisk you away to another world.

Dance partner wanted in Austin

If you'd like to lose a few pounds, this is a great opportunity. When you dance salsa, you're in full motion. Don't be surprised if your hips ache a little afterwards. As we know, women have their own story with that over the years, but it certainly can't hurt a man either.

We dance at a well-known salsa studio downtown. The long-established dance school is housed in an old building. We're a fun bunch. The married couples keep to themselves a little and head home sooner. We, on the other hand, love to sit together until well after midnight. What we're missing is men. After a cocktail, my girls and I came up with the brilliant idea that each of us would look for a dance partner online. Whoever doesn't manage it within 2 weeks buys everyone a round.

I'm sure I've found you. I'm 5'9", 39 years old and divorced. If you're between 35 and 45 and at least 5'11" tall, it would simply be a perfect fit.

Be brave, you've read the ad, so let yourself in for an adventure. Meeting people is always a good idea. Maybe you're new in town, recently divorced or separated, and feel like meeting some pretty women. We also get together privately every now and then. Just go for it!
